Help and support

How to reach us, get Pro back on a new phone, and delete your account.

Email support@nomiwords.com.

It helps to say which phone you use and the app version, shown in Settings. If it's about your account, quote the account code from Settings → Account.

In the app, Report a problem on your profile opens an email to us too.

Getting Pro back on a new phone

Pro belongs to the App Store or Google Play account you bought it with. On the new phone, sign in to that same store account, open Nomi and tap Restore purchases on the Pro screen or in Settings.

Your words come back separately: sign in with Apple or Google in Settings → Account on the old phone, then with the same one on the new phone, and Nomi restores your backup.

Cancelling a subscription

Apple or Google bills Nomi Pro, so you cancel it with them, at least 24 hours before it renews:

Deleting the app or your Nomi account doesn't cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

Deleting your account

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account & data. It deletes your account, your backup, your profile and your results, straight away. No longer have the app? See how to delete your account.

Questions people ask

What's free?

The word of the day, your daily session with up to 15 reviews, one game a day, up to 100 words, your placement result, and Daily Kindred and Daily Inkling every day. Nomi Pro removes the limits and adds Unravel Freeplay, the memory curve and sentence checks in Try it.

What does Pro cost?

In the UK, £24.99 a year with a 7-day free trial, £4.99 a month, or £59.99 once for Lifetime. The App Store or Google Play shows the price where you live before you pay.

The words are too easy, or too hard

Tap Too easy or Too hard under the day's new word. Nomi moves your new words a level, up to one either side of where placement put you, and swaps that day's word. You can do it once a day.

Which English does Nomi teach?

British English: British spelling, and British pronunciation written in IPA.

Will I lose my words if I change phones?

Not if you sign in. Nomi backs up your learning automatically, and signing in with Apple or Google lets you restore it on another phone. Without signing in, the backup belongs to that phone's anonymous account.
